The P3200ie (6.5 hours run time) is only 58dB(A) and runs $1,600 from Costco, compare this to Honda's Super Quiet EU3000IS (7.2 hours run time) 58dB(A) for $2000. Honda says 58dB(A) is Super Quiet, so the Cummins Onan Portable Generator is also Super Quiet!

For a generator that will power your home, Cummins Onan offers the P5450e which runs for 11.2 hours at full load (very good!), has a noise level of 76dB(A) [not so good, but that's at full load, so I'm guessing 72 at half?] and costs $799.

Just an FYI... I found the p3200ie Cummins Onan super quiet generator 58dB (Inverter model) at Costco for $1,300; very small wheels and 6 hour run time is the only down side, but then again, you're not going to use this to power your home, more like a few key appliances.
